Organization	Report is not essentially random. (20)	Organization is evident and can somewhat be discerned. (5)	Organization is logical and easy to follow.  There is no jumping back and forth among topics. (3)	An outline or table of contents is given at the beginning of the report. (2)
Content	There is some content about the subject. (30)	All of the main points about your topic that are found in the text are present. (4)	Accurate and up to date information is cited from legitimate sources other than your text. (4)	No false information is given. (2)
Creativity	Some unique aspect of the subject is explored. (4)	Creative explanations and/or analogies are used to explain concepts. (2)	The reader is given some way to relate personal knowledge and/or experience to the information in the report. (2)	The writer clearly adds a “personal touch” to the report.  (Something which you create on your own.) (2)
Format	Report is assembled in a logical and easy to follow format and pages are somehow bound in a folder. (4)	Report is neatly written or typed and is at no point difficult to read. (2)	Effective visual aids (at least 2) such as pictures, figures, tables, diagrams, etc. are used when appropriate. (2)	A list of cited works (bibliography) is given at the end of the report. (2)
Language	There are less than fifteen errors in spelling and/or grammar (combined). (4)	There are less than ten errors in spelling and/or grammar (combined). (3)	There are less than five errors in spelling and/or grammar (combined). (2)	There are no errors in spelling or grammar. (1)

Group Presentation – (Shared Grade)

Organization	Cannot be characterized as essentially random. (20)	The presentation is organized into topics and subtopics. (4)	An outline of topics is given at the beginning and topics are announced during the presentation. (4)	There is no wasted time due to lack of preparation. (2)
Content	There is some content about the subject. (30)	The main points about your object that are found in the text are presented. (4)	Accurate and up to date information is cited from legitimate sources other than your text. (4)	No false information is given. (2)
Creativity	Something occurs that is unique and creative and that is related to the topic.  (Something you create or come up with on your own.) (4)	Creative explanations occur through analogies, demonstrations, models, etc. (3)	Most of the audience is clearly engaged in some way. (2)	The entire audience is clearly engaged in some way. (1)
Materials	Some sort of visual aid is used. (4)	Visual aid is clear and easy to comprehend. (3)	Multiple effective visual aids are used. (2)	Visual aids can be read from the back of the class. (1)
Communication	Someone can hear and understand. (4)	Most can hear and understand and there is occasional eye contact. (3)	Everyone can clearly hear and understand and there is frequent eye contact. (2)	Words are correctly spelled, pronounced; grammar is correct. (1)
